How To Find A No Fee Remortgage

If you have searched for remortgage information then you have probably already noticed the fees involved. They can amount to quite a large sum if you don’t be careful choosing your lender. Sometimes they can be as much as between £500-£1000. But there are actually ways of getting your remortgage without paying any fees whatsoever.

Finding A No Fee Remortgage

Lenders who offer remortgages with no fees do so by offering you a slightly higher interest rate. No Fee RemortgageWhat this does is cover them paying all the fees involved. So they get their money back in the end but you still get your loan. So if you don’t mind paying slightly more money then it can be a good deal for both parties.

Valuation fees are the main costs of getting a remortgage. These will be covered by the lender if you go for the no fee option. Conveyancing costs will also be covered by the lender. So you basically won’t pay any initial fees at all.

Sounds Too Good To Be True?

Although everything I just mentioned is true, there are of course many requirements you need to match to be considered by the lender. If you have any form of bad credit such as CCJ’s, then you might struggle to be accepted. Some lenders will also look at how much equity you have in the property and elsewhere. This just helps them to guarantee you won’t default on the loan.

You will also be required to have a stable job too. If you have worked for the same company for several years this will really go in your favour. Again it is to help the lender see you have stable income.

But as long as you have a good credit history, some equity in your home and have a stable job then you should be able to quite easily find a lender to give you a no fee remortgage.
